What might define a life fully lived? It’s a question many of us probably mean to ask ourselves. But never do. Meet Alison. 93. Registered blind. Quietly spirited.

A chance encounter with a city gent wearing a pin striped suit, bowler hat & carrying a rolled umbrella might have gone unnoticed. If she’d been blind to the subtlety of life.

My time with Alison had led me to wonder if we all have a part to play in the life of another.

FILM (MAYBE) GUITAR TRACK 40

Made up/recorded on new guitar looper. Unsure what for, or why. This looper will allow me
to make up tunes live at events, which is pretty much the experience of all the film music.
Track 40 was made up in the kitchen, at dinner yesterday evening.
This is a rough recording. Will probably revisit. Perhaps a little more space.

Totally uncertain as to what kind of film it might feature in.

NOTE: just licensed a load of guitar tracks for use in films. That’ll cover many sets of new strings.

Haunting track thirty nine. A two minute cut. Recorded last night.

Might it conjure a dream from beyond imagination?

On the subject of dreaming, here are some words that might change the complexion;

THE TREE OF DREAMS

Many had gathered under the
tree of dreams.

All but one stood shaking its
branches for dreams
to fall.

Dreams that had been whispered
to them by the voices of
others.

Dreams that would fade
with time.

But one sat quietly, waiting
for a dream to recognise his soul.

And to consume him with no doubt.

Recorded a few hours ago, after noticing my kids dancing on a large blue sofa to the rhythm, as I played around on the guitar with nothing particular in mind.

A stack load more GUITAR HERE. Much of it for the fatigued soul.
